Before the tasting itself, which will begin at 4 pm, the Wine Day programme will start at 1.30 pm with a literary conference, this time on the topic of Wine and Reason.

This year's representative wine exhibition will offer visitors wines of the Müller Thurgau, Sylvan Green, Neuburg, Scheurebe, Aurelius, Blue Portugal, Zweigeltrebe, Dornfelder and André varieties.

The best wines will be awarded the title of champions of the show, the final evaluation will be decided by a hundred-point system by professional tasters.

The musical aspect of the basket will be taken care of by the Rubáš dulcimer band.

A charity auction of rare bottles will take place at 6 pm.

Transportation to a remote location in the immediate vicinity of Buchlov Castle will be provided by free basket buses. A special bus service will leave from the Uherské Hradiště bus station (bus stop 26) at 15.00. From Buchlovice (square) at 12.55 (connecting to the line from UH 12.25, it is necessary to change), 14.15 (connecting to the line from UH 13.45, it is necessary to change) and 15.45. From Buchlovice to Buchlovice, Zlechov, Staré Město and Uherské Hradiště the bus departs at 18.30, 19.30, 20.30 and 21.30.
