Open day on Simonite cut and its function as a preventive measure against the spread of ESCA with Ing. The workshop will consist of a theoretical and practical part in the vineyard, where participants will test the theoretical knowledge in practice directly on the vines. The main skill that vine growers should take away from the workshop is the ability to build the structure of the vine bush over the long term without large cuts, thus preventing the penetration of wood-boring fungi into the plant.

Simonito & Sirch's pruning method works with both the Guyot shape and the cordon cut and can be used successfully in both new plantings and established vineyards.
