Mikrosvín Mikulov - winery with history, solid values, its story, its unmistakable path. We are Pálava and the Danube Hills, we are Železná, Goldhamer, Ořechová hora or Purmice. We are the legacy of our ancestors and several generations of heartthrobs and successful Moravian winemakers. And what are we not? We are not proud, because that doesn't pay in winemaking. We're just proud. Proud and humble. Proud of our origins, proud of our unique terroir, proud of the raw material we have the opportunity to work with year after year, proud of the wines hidden behind our label that constantly entertain and surprise you, and ultimately proud of the team and personalities that have been and are here.
Vinařství Mikrosvín, a.s. Mikulov is Moravia's major producer of wines from the Mikulov wine sub-region. The company is one of the stalwarts of the Czech Republic's wine industry. The winery produces quality wine from vines grown mainly on the slopes in the Pálava Protected Landscape Area. It cultivates vineyards on the most prestigious routes in the Mikulov region. These include, for example, the well-known Železná, Kotelná, Purmice and Goldhamer tracks in the village of Perná, the important Liščí vrch and Ořechová hora tracks in the village of Březí and the Zimní vrch track over the hill in the village of Dolní Dunajovice. Of course, this is not the end of the list of winery routes, but these are the most important ones. Other vineyards are still in the cadastre of Mikulov and Dobré Pole.
The sunny slopes in the calcium-rich soils produce wines of high quality. The winery focuses mainly on the production of white wines and its flagship is the Riesling variety.
The wines are divided into several lines, the most famous of which are the Flower Line, Traditional Line and Fresh Line.
The company holds several first prizes in the Czech Republic. It was the first to produce an ice wine and a berry selection and also the first winery in the country to produce wines of the same variety from different locations.
We follow the philosophy that WINE IS BORN IN THE VINE and WINE MAKES PEOPLE.
