Basics of grape growing
Basics of wine production

CERTIFICATE
The course ends with a theoretical test and a practical wine tasting exam. By successfully passing the exam, the participant becomes a holder of the Basic Prague Wine Academy certificate. The course is a qualification for the Advanced Course - International Wines Weinakademie Österreich starting in November 2024 at Geisenheim University.
The Basic course is led by the first Czech Weinakademiker Jan Rokyta, who lived in the Netherlands for eighteen years and has been a certified "Wineologist of the Dutch Wine Academy" since 2004. In 2010 he graduated from the Diploma course. He is a laureate of the 2010 Prix de Pommery tasting competition and a five-time finalist between 2005 and 2009.
