The next, this time already the eighth year of the Promenade of Red Wines, the only exhibition of domestic red wines in the Czech Republic, will take place on Saturday 7 March 2026 in the hall of the Sokolovna in Velke Pavlovice.
After last year's successful edition, the exhibition will again be divided into two parts, namely the VIP part, which will take place from 14.00 (VIP tickets must be purchased). This will be followed by a part including a free tasting from 17.00. Traditionally, the well-known moderator Ondřej Blaho will guide you through the whole day.
The VIP part includes the announcement of the results of the Red Wine Promenade 2026, the award ceremony, including a discussion with the category winners and a tasting of their winning wines. There will also be space for questions from you, the visitors. The VIP part will include a welcome drink, refreshments, a tasting of the winning wines (CHAMPION, YOUNG PERSPECTIVE, a selected wine from the collection of wines awarded with the ENOLOGISTS' UNION AWARD and wines awarded with the Grand Gold Medal) and a subsequent free tasting, all before the start of the second part at 17.00. So if you are also interested in information about the winning wines, want to learn more about them, taste the samples on display in a smaller number of people and appreciate the winners of the competition, then the VIP part is just for you! And of course, the ticket price includes a free tasting, which will follow the VIP part of the day.To listen to this part of the day will play Jan Míchal and Zbyněk Bílek 🎶. VIP tickets will only be available for pre-sale and capacity will be limited, so you can only buy online until the VIP tickets are sold out.
The free tasting will take place from 5pm, already as you are used to. However, it will not include the awards ceremony and other bonus program as the VIP part. You will be able to taste unlimited competition samples as well as white and rosé wines of winemakers from the VOC Velké Pavlovice vineyard association. During the second part, the Lašár dulcimer music from Velké Pavlovice will play. Tickets for the afternoon tasting will also be available at the venue.
Refreshments will be prepared by the catering company Dyckyněco.
