Their joint album won the 2003 Anděl Award for Best World Music Record. Štěpán Markovič has accompanied an incredible number of Czech and foreign stars. He has worked with Ray Charles and Liza Minnelli; he recorded an album with Bill Clinton. His project "Štěpán Markovič Gipsy Groove" gives a concrete idea of the excellent sense of a jazzman for combining different musical genres.
