Basics of Sommeliering, Wine and Winemaking is the most visited course of the Wine Institute and after completing it you will get a basic overview of wine and wine culture. This is an intensive full-day course (9am-6pm) in winemaking led by one of the country's top sommeliers.

Basics of Sommeliering, Wine and Winemaking is the most visited course of the Wine Institute and after completing it you will get a basic overview of wine and wine culture. It is an intensive full-day wine course led by one of the top sommeliers where you will learn all about wine tasting and service, how to pair wine with food and how to spot wine flaws and shortcomings. You'll learn how wines are classified in the Czech Republic and exactly what the functions of a sommelier are, all including practical demonstrations of course. The course is also a ticket to the world of wine for those who decide to study further and reach the CERTIFICATE OF SOMMELIER.
