The event takes place in the unique cellar alley of Draha, in a peaceful atmosphere, in a location almost untouched by the commercial wine industry. You have the opportunity to taste not only the wines of local hobby winemakers, but also local wine companies present themselves here and last but not least you have the opportunity to taste the whole range of wines of the Cuvée Cup Skalka competition. The wines of local small producers are included in the presentation in the form of a wine shop. There is also a tasting of local wine companies and professional winemakers. The event includes a public wine tasting of the 2nd year of the CUVÉE CUP SKALKA competition. A unique presentation of cuvées, coupages and stamp wines of the region. The wines will be evaluated by an expert jury on a 100-point scale according to the OIV. The aim of this competition is to clear the reputation of cuvées, coupages and stamp wines, which are still considered to be of inferior quality when participating in local and lower wine competitions, and also to increase the self-confidence of small producers when entering these wines in local and regional exhibitions, where varietal wines predominate. We believe that you will spend a pleasant summer afternoon or evening here, and with a glass of Skalka wine you may even sing along to the dulcimer.
