About event

This year's Chotěšov Wine Festival had to be moved from its original May date to an alternative September date due to government measures against the spread of coronavirus. The organisers are confident that the unusual date will not detract from the attractiveness of the festival.

Další popis

On Saturday, 19 September, a total of 16 domestic wineries will present themselves in the magical premises of the Chotěšov Monastery. Among the participants will be both well-known wineries awarded with many prizes and lesser-known, untried wineries. The wine offer will be very varied, so every visitor will undoubtedly find something to their liking. In short, those who want to eat well will not miss out either. The food zone will offer a wide range of traditional and less traditional dishes. A rich accompanying programme will be an integral part of the event. In the afternoon, the Majerán dulcimer band from Blansko will play for listening and dancing. In the evening, there will be a traditional dance performance by the Chotěšov Society of Mayors. In the evening, the popular singer Michal Šindelář will play and sing. Guided tours of the interior of the monastery will take place throughout the day. The firefighters' museum and the historic water tower with a view of Chotěšov and its surroundings will also be open. The programme will be guided by the moderator Luděk Holý and wine expert Jiří Hudec. The basic entrance fee will be 50 CZK. Premium admission will be 100 CZK and will include a tasting glass with the festival logo. Entrance to the convent building and the tower will be charged separately.
