Opening ceremony of the ninth annual Český Krumlov® Wine Festival, at the vineyard in the Monastery Garden. From 3 p.m., tastings of Českorumlovský Solaris and this variety from other winemakers will take place.

Every year, at the opening of the Český Krumlov® Wine Festival, several bottles of wine from Český Krumlov vineyards are officially opened. Wine of the Solaris grape variety is also offered from other winemakers and this pleasant afternoon with a glass of wine is a worthy start to the month-long festival, when awareness of quality Czech and Moravian wines and the consumption and sale of wine in a non-wine growing but touristically important region of the Czech Republic is strengthened.
