The Klatovy Wine Festival will take place in Klatovy in Mercandino Gardens near the historic Empire building of the Colonnade. The extensive premises of this park are directly offered for the realization of the festival, where visitors will not only be able to calmly "taste" wine products, but also to lead a discussion about winemaking and other activities that will certainly positively promote winemaking in the Czech Republic. Admission to the event will be free, wine will be provided to participants only in glasses purchased on the spot at a price of 100 CZK.


The moderator Jan Antal will inform about everything necessary throughout the event. A considerable amount of important information related to winemaking will also be provided by a pair of renowned sommeliers who will attend the event.

A pleasant backdrop for the whole afternoon and early evening will be the Cimbalom music from Milotice, which will be complemented by several performances of local folklore groups. Among other things, there will be an auction of special wines, with the proceeds going to charity. In the evening the dulcimer music will be replaced by the band The Shower.
