In the Level 1 course, under the guidance of an experienced lecturer, learners will acquire the basic skills and knowledge that will enable them to pursue a career in the hospitality and wine trade. The training is also suitable for wine lovers who want to expand their wine awareness.

By the end of the course, students will be able to systematically taste wine and identify the main wine styles. In addition, they will learn the most important principles of wine and food pairing. Successful students will be awarded an internationally recognised WSET certificate and badge after passing the exam.

In the WSET courses, which take place at three levels, participants will gradually learn to navigate through more than 130 international wines. In addition, each learner has the opportunity to bring a wine of their own production, or a Czech or Moravian wine, which they present and which is then tasted and evaluated by all participants. The class will be taught in English.
