About event

A celebration of wine, food and singing. The next edition of the popular wine event is already knocking on the door. Taste the quality wines from Dolní Kounice and the surrounding villages. Every year, more than 300 wine samples from more than 100 winemakers are available for tasting. There is also an accompanying programme: dulcimer music, games for children.

The St. Gotthard Wine Festival takes place on Masaryk Square from 1 pm. After the opening of the festivities by the mayor Ing. Formánková and the mayors of the surrounding villages involved in the organization, followed by the wine tasting accompanied by dulcimer music. The programme will be enriched by the ongoing craft fair, where it is possible to buy souvenirs or various competitions with wine-themed activities, which are organized by the local association Brotherhood of Winemakers and Diggers 1737. In addition to wine, the festivities also feature the famous goulash from the Hunting Association or other small refreshments.
For children, several activities and creative workshops are prepared.
