XXIVth year of the South Moravian Wine Tasting **NOW CANCELLED**

On 21 March 2020, the traditional South Moravian Wine Tasting will take place in Moravské Budějovice. The premises will be open at 10 a.m. The award ceremony for successful winemakers will take place at 2 p.m. Dulcimer music will play from 3 to 9 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. This is the XXIVth year. Last year visitors could taste a total of 500 samples of white, rosé, red and special wines. The winner was RR 2015, PS from the Blue Cellar Nový Šaldorf. The best white wine Pálava 2017, PS from Vinařství Jaroslav Drmola, Mikulov. The best red wine was Merlot 2018, VzH from Víno Botur winery, Strážnice. The best rosé was Cabernet Moravia, 2018, PS from Jaroslav Krouchal from Lukov. The results can be found in the catalogue at www.vsmb.wz.cz. We hope that in 2020 winemakers will remain in our favour and provide us with wine samples again.
