The family winery Jindřich Kadrnka is located in the wine-growing village of Březí near Mikulov, close to the beautiful Pálava and Dunajovské vrchy. Jindřich's family has been involved in viticulture and wine production for many years and is the fourth generation to continue the winery. Jindřich has worked in the vineyard and cellar since childhood, but his first and most important professional step was his first job in 2001, when he joined the Mikrosvín Mikulov company, where he gained a lot of experience and knowledge. Subsequently, he worked at the Galant Mikulov winery. He also worked with the well-known winemaker Zdeněk Peřina from Klentnice. He probably became most well-known at the Volařík Winery in Mikulov, where he worked as a viticulturist.
In his family winery he tries to produce top quality grapes, because he believes that only this is the basis for excellent wine. The emphasis is on all the work in the vineyard, the least possible chemical intervention, the most gentle approach to the vines, the grapes and the wine in general. The winery grows varieties typical of the area, but also new varieties that they believe can be of high quality. These are Riesling, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Palava, and the new Johanniter. Of the blue varieties, it is Merlot. Its top-quality grapes are grown on the famous vineyards of the Mikulov region, namely Ořechová hora and Liščí vrch in the cadastre of the wine-growing village of Březí. It also buys small quantities of quality grapes.
This winery produces beautiful wines in its Family series - Barborka, Jindřich and Marcela. Currently the winery produces beautiful wines from wooden barrels such as Veltliner Green, Chardonnay and Riesling. The winery now presents itself as a modern and promising Moravian winery, producing beautiful wines in which the winemaker puts his heart.
Come and taste these great wines.
