About event
The competition is open to all winemakers, with no restrictions on age, sub-region, gender or technology.
Wine evaluation on 21 and 22 May at the Centre of Excellence in Valtice.
Entries will be judged by members of the Young Winemakers Association and their colleagues from abroad.

This year's edition brings several new features:
* We will announce the Young Winemaker Award 2019 for the best collection of wines of winemakers under 40 years of age - the Young Winemaker will become a member of the Young Winemakers Association for a year and then will be able to apply for full membership
* The winning wines of 5 categories and the winning wines of winemakers under 40 years of age in these categories will be on three months (June - August) will be part of the exposition of the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic in Valtice and will also be on special weekly offer for a glass in the Vinograf wine bars in Prague
* The winners of the categories will receive material prizes from the general partner of the competition, Vinařský ráj
*The wines will be evaluated 12 members of the Young Winemakers Association and 8 foreign tasters (Young Winemakers are not allowed to enter their wines into the competition)
*The competition is supported by the Wine Fund
