Every year, the St. Martin's Day Basket offers 100 types of wine from winemakers from Moravia and Bohemia. St. Martin's wine is blessed in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Petrov, St. Martin then officially opens the bottle in Svoboda Square at 11.00 a.m. Admission to the event is 60 CZK, for which visitors receive a glass, a catalogue and a rechargeable chip, which they charge with any amount, which will then be used to pay for wine samples. A wine sample (0.5 dcl) will cost 10 CZK. There is dulcimer music to listen to. In the adjacent stalls you can buy themed refreshments. The St. Martin's feast lasts until the early evening.
