On Monday 11 November, before 11 o'clock, the blessing ceremony of St Martin's wine will begin. The new wine will be handed over by St Martin on a white horse, accompanied by Roman soldiers and a costumed crowd. At 11.30 a.m., a tasting of St. Martin's wines will follow and dulcimer music will be played.

The festive atmosphere of the ancient custom is gaining more and more attention from the citizens and visitors of the Slovak metropolis. A meeting with winemakers and representatives of the town accompanied by local musicians is prepared by the Municipal Information Centre in Uherské Hradiště. It will be possible to taste St. Martin's and other young wines from renowned winemakers from South Moravia in the wine tent until late afternoon.
