The historic Rosa Coeli Festival is an important and unique event that combines rich culture, folk traditions, music and wine tourism. The festivities were created to celebrate the regaining of the town's status in 1998. The whole festival has been developing every year and offers visitors a rich cultural program already in 3 squares and 2 monuments at the same time. The squares host stage performances (fencing performances, fakir and fire shows, period music performances, etc.), there are stalls with culinary specialities and also a historical fair. An integral part of the festivities is also a show of period crafts, such as: blacksmithing, basket weaving, pedigree, etc. All these crafts can be tried by all visitors. For adult participants there is a show and wine tasting from local winemakers. During the festivities it is also possible to visit a number of accompanying programs, such as a tour of the monastery and synagogue. Stage performances are topped off with a fire show. The festivities are then concluded with a fireworks display over the Jihlava River.
