About event

The lecture with tasting and practical demonstration of the influence of glasses on the aroma and taste of wine will be led by Klára Kollárová with guest Ing. Jan Ustohal, ambassador of Riedel glassworks. Much has been written and suggested about the fact that wine glass dramatically affects not only the aroma but also the taste of wine, less has been practically tested.

Believe me, you will not be bored at this masterclass and it will be packed with theory and practice. We will focus on our important varieties of Riesling, Palava, Franconia and Pinot Noir. As ever, we will be tasting and evaluating the wines in threes. The difference, however, will be the presence of other types and shapes of glasses that we will use at will. We will then evaluate and choose the right glass for the wine and variety.
