Masterclass with the national sommelier Klára Kollárová or a lecture with tasting and discussion on the topic of natural wines
The lecture with tasting on the topic of natural wines will be led by Klára Kollárová and Jan Čulík. Natural wines encompass a wide range of approaches, wines and philosophies. The vagueness of the definition is often misleading and we will try to make it a bit clearer with Jan. We will taste a wide range of interesting and often borderline wines, which I believe will lead to an interesting discussion. We'll blind-assess the wines in the Elwis system and then discuss the different opinions together.
Objective: To explain the rise of wines in kind historically, philosophically and from a consumer perspective. To learn about the different "schools" and organisations, but also about the approaches of different groups and regions to clarify this product.
Program:
- Presentation on the history of the creation and definition of the issue.
- Tasting of 15 samples of foreign and local wines
- Discussion of the wines and their processing
- Discussion on natural wines as a global trend
- After the end, the possibility of further discussion
Target group: professional wine public or wine lovers
