About event

The wine exhibition in Hovorany is a traditional exhibition organized by the basic organization of the ČZS. It is exhibited by local winemakers, winemakers from the surrounding villages of the Hovoransko micro-region and nearby villages. The opening of the exhibition is on 18 March 2023 at 13.00 in the local sokolovna.

The exhibition will be expanded with wines of poorly cultivated varieties, which will be provided for this event by the Association of Vologne Winegrowers. These are wines of new varieties that are beginning to be grown in the Czech Republic and wines of varieties that are slowly disappearing from the range. During the exhibition, the exhibitors of the best white, red and rose wines will be awarded a material prize together with a diploma. The first three wines in each variety will also be awarded a diploma. The dulcimer music will provide a pleasant atmosphere.
