The traditional event associated with tastings of the first wines of the current vintage will take place on Saturday 12 November in the 1st courtyard of the chateau and Jiří Square in Poděbrady. A total of 10 domestic wineries will present young and St. Martin's Day wines from their own production. In addition to the wine, you can also look forward to a fair of handicraft products and delicacies and an accompanying programme. At 11:00, Martin will arrive on a white horse to bless the citizens of Poděbrady and open the first bottle of St. Martin's wine. In the afternoon, a dulcimer band will play for listening and dancing.

Admission to the event is free. The wine will be poured exclusively into special St. Martin's Day glasses, which will be available for purchase on the spot for 60 CZK.
