The local wine festival attracts visitors not only for wine and bourbon tasting,
but also to an interesting accompanying programme in the spirit of folk traditions...

❧ The tradition of the Velkopavlovice wine festival dates back to 1936.
❧ The concept, with elements of the commemoration of mountain rights and the highlighting of religious tradition, began after 1990.
❧ The town of Velké Pavlovice emphasises the promotion of local wines and local wineries when organising the event.
❧ Wine and bourbon tasting takes place on the premises of the Velkopavlovice Vintage Festival during the cultural programme,
which focuses on performances by folklore groups and popular music groups.

❧ The Velkopavlovice Vintage Festival traditionally dates back to mid-September.
❧ They always last for two days and two nights.
❧ It starts on Friday in the early evening and continues with a very rich programme until Saturday night.
❧ Even in 2024, there will be a parade of costumed troops through the town, where they are paraded
local folk costumes.
❧ Of course there will be wine and bourbon tasting by local winemakers.
❧ The festivities will include an accompanying cultural programme for all age groups of visitors.
